Stopped here after a day with my husband we had the Cobb salad. It was delicious with ice tea very good. The staff is so attentive and nice. I enjoy restaurants like this much better than the big fancy ones . The restrooms were very clean. I ate here yrs ago coming home from Germantown where we couldn't find a restaurant that interested us.

Best Benedict I've ever had! The Hollandaise is delicious and the eggs were cooked perfectly. Fiona was so authentically sweet and very attentive. The teamwork between everyone is evident to ensure guests are well cared for. We always feel like family here. Great food and service every time!

Wow, I don't usually give 5 stars across the board. Great, great food and environment. The staff was super awesome. They open at 11am and are packed by noon...speaks for itself. The "main street" dish rocks!

What a great spot for lunch or dinner. We were looked after. Food was so tasty and came out quick. Hostess was nice servers on the ball. Refilled drinks without us asking. Cleared unwanted dishes to make room for other food. Really on top of things.

Been here multiple times over the last year and it's excellent. Most of the extras are home made, which makes it much easier to deal with allergies. They are also very receptive to checking dishes to make sure they don't have allergies either. The mashed potatoes were 5/5 excellent and all dishes I've had so far have been solid.

The Hornets Smith Grill is a cozy restaurant in Damascus right off Main Street. The restaurant definitely has a hometown field and is decorated with Damascus high school jerseys and team pictures. I went there for lunch on a weekday and had a very nice experience. The food and service were both very good! I ordered the cream of crab soup, it is a pretty generous portion, even for the small size and it’s topped with real crab. It was delicious, maybe one of the best cream of crab soups I’ve eaten in a very long time. I also had the fish and chips, the portions were generous, enough for two meals. My friend ordered the Reuben sandwich which I sampled. This is what I’ll get next time! That bread was grilled perfectly so that you had a nice crunch when bite into it and the meat was very flavorful! And, it was a huge sandwich! The service was just right and I will definitely be back to this restaurant. Every town needs a restaurant like this! (One note about parking, there is a sign on the side of the building that says parking only for an address and certain suites or be towed. It does not match the address of the restaurant, but apparently you can park there. I had to call the restaurant to be sure. The signage should be clear as to who is allowed to park in that lot.)

Definitely a nice little place. Great food and a nice local sports bar feel to it. The cheese twigs were really good and was glad to try both sauces. Marinara has always been a staple to me, but the raspberry sauce tasted interesting but good. The Cheesesteak was good, but the cheese had a bit of a horse radish-esque taste to it. The fries were decent. Service was a little slow, but I can understand for a small restaurant like this, but the people were very friendly there.

Food is VERY filling, I often have a third of your meal to take home. They have a bunch of sports playing, and it feels very American.
